This is a collection of my professional records and thoughts, some information about me and my family, and repository for everything I feel comfortable putting on the web. Why create a personal site in 2020, when that stopped being cool in ~2002? First, I am deeply uncomfortable with social networks being the primary repositories for my online life. I am still a social networking participant but I like the idea of having my content (no matter how unimportant) retained in a way that gives me very close to full control. The second reason is a long history of professional content creation which is mostly unutilized in my current work role. I miss building simple web sites, creating brand stories and pouring over copy, so creating this personal site is a way to keep using some of those skills.
